Canadian producer return tops and winner of National YoYo Contest Award of Excellence
Alexis JV wins it all at the Canadian Nationals
The 2012 Canadian National Return Top Contest was held last weekend and was a total success thanks to the efforts of those coordinating and judging the event. Competitors came from abroad to hang with friends and leave nothing to spare on stage. Here’s a few highlight from SYYY’s Instagram profile, SPYYcanada.
Alexis JV takes first in 1A and Open with his spotless freestyles. I guess the three day bus ride was worth it. Congrats, Alexis. You made us all proud. Worlds ’13 next?
Devon was in full effect, throwing like the cool cat he is with a smooth freestyle.
Devon was happy to help out with some footage for the latest Sector-y video in works. Stay tuned to see the whole team in another one of Gabe’s stunning creations.
Michael put on a high energy, crowd pleasing freestyle that earned him second place in open. Michael also took home the best trick award after defeating Alexis in a crowd cheering trick off. Way to go Michael!

Been a great year for SPYY.
New teammates, new yoyos, good stuff all around.
Congrats to the whole team, and props to AJV for throwing like a boss. Look forward to a AJV model, maybe for next years worlds trip. Whattya say Steve ?
